Mr. Antonucci has more than 20 years of varied experience in the IT industry that includes building organizations, overseeing the development and sale of software products, selling, resourcing and managing professional services. Mr. Antonucci has over 10 years experience at the executive management level with more recently, a focus on developing new application products for managing technology infrastructures. He has established a broad network of executive contacts primarily in the US market, which share a passion for this niche in the market.

Mr. Antonucci is an energetic, enthusiastic team builder who strikes an aggressive, yet balanced strategic direction for corporate growth. His management style is based on a solid foundation of experience.

Mr. Antonucci has extensive experience working with system integration organizations, application and software product developers. He has a thorough understanding of the application coding/engineering industry based on early experience managing application development initiatives and more recently working with and selling to large technology development corporations.

1991 - present

As a Founder and Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Antonucci helped established the company as a key player in the Enterprise Architecture Planning sector.

KNOWLEDGE NAVIGATORS INTERNATIONAL

1998 - 2001

As a member of the Board of Director and Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Antonucci helped Knowledge Navigators International (Knav) establish itself as an "e-learning for e-business" company.

 

DMR GROUP INC.

1988 - 1990

As Managing Director, was responsible for the marketing, resourcing and delivery of the consulting services for the Federal Government sector in Canada.

As Business Unit Director was responsible for marketing, sales and delivery of consulting services to a number of large organizations.

AMS MANAGEMENT

SYSTEMS CANADA INC.

1986 - 1988

As General Manager, the senior executive in Canada, directed the operations, human resources, marketing and product delivery for all the business activity in Canada.

Experience Building Organizations …

Mr. Antonucci led Knowledge Navigators International to establish itself as an "e-Learning for e-Business" company. Responsibilities included human resources, overseeing technology development, market research, finance, marketing, sales and alliance negotiations. Significant time was focused on supporting the efforts of the company to attract investment capital.
For American Management Systems, Mr. Antonucci established their first "off-shore" subsidiary, AMS Management Systems Canada, a start-up Canadian operation with a focus on operational readiness assessments for large corporate financial, materiel and human resources applications, packaged software and related professional services. Mr. Antonucci was responsible for all aspects of the operation, including marketing, sales, human capital, project management and product delivery.

Experience in Sales, Business Development and Partnerships/Alliances …

Responsible for all Canadian sales of AMS Canada software and professional services products and filled the role of CMO as well as General Manager for the first two years of operation.
Responsible for sales and alliance development in North America for Ashton Informatics Inc. since 1990.
As Business Unit Director for DMR Group Canada, was responsible for marketing, sales and delivery of consulting services to a number of large organizations with a focus on national projects.

Experience in Software Development …

Designed and managed the development of applications software for the financial, materiel and human resources sectors for more than a dozen organizations.
Managed numerous application software development initiatives including the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, where Mr. Antonucci staffed and managed a corporate IT application development group and subsequently implemented some of their core corporate application systems.
Participated in the design of a software product, Ashton ArchitectÔ , designed to model business impact on an organization’s technology infrastructure.

Experience in Project Management …

Managed several projects that had budgets in excess of $1,000,000.00, including initiatives for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, Trans Canada Pipeline, Foreign Affairs, Food and Agriculture Organization (branch of the UN), Micronutrient Initiative and Knowledge Navigators International.
Managed the initial application development software project for Knowledge Navigators International, an internet based education/training/collaboration platform called Learning EngineÔ .
Trained managers in the skills of Project Management, including budget, resources, tracking and reporting, change management, cultural impact, risk management and user impact assessment (Health Canada, National Museums).

Experience in the Internet Industry …

As COO for Knowledge Navigators International, a company that has developed an internet-based education/collaboration platform focused primarily on the B2B sector.
Established a network of internet alliances and contacts (alliances/customers/venture capitalist) primarily in the San Rafael, San Francisco and San Mateo area by spending over a year in the bay area.
Currently participating in the reengineering of a workstation based product for use on the Web. The new product design and development has been completed.
For Knowledge Navigators International, established a hosting facility in Hanorsand, Sweden to support the web-based collaborative/learning products for European customers.

Experience in Growing a Company Business …

As a Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Ashton Informatics Inc., Mr. Antonucci helped the company evolve from a capacity planning, application development and IT strategic planning consulting practice into an Enterprise Architecture Planning specialty firm. Ashton Informatics can list among its clients a number of Canadian and US government departments, cities and provinces, corporations such as Pharmacia and Upjohn, National Grocers and Canada Post, Boards of Education, international petroleum companies and the United Nations.
As the first employee and General Manager of AMS Canada Ltd., Mr. Antonucci started the business "out of the trunk of his car", made the first sales, hired the first resources and managed the projects to a successful completion.

Resource Development ….

Mr. Antonucci focuses considerable effort in the development of human resources, many of whom have worked with him in more than one organization.
Within Ashton Informatics, Mr. Antonucci, has worked with the same partners/colleagues for over 10 years.
Resource development fosters an excellent working environment, evidenced by the fact that a number of employees have encouraged their colleagues and even their partners to join the companies under Mr. Antonucci’s management.
Former employees, mentored by Mr. Antonucci have grown, founding their own firms or advancing to senior management positions.
Mr. Antonucci continues to work with many former employees /associates with relationships that go back over 20 years.
Significant consulting engagements for the Government of Barbados.
System development and methodology work for the Food and Agriculture Organization branch of the UN in Rome, Italy.
For Knowledge Navigators International, established a sales office in Stockholm, an internet service bureau in Harnosand, Sweden, an application development centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia, application development in Victoria, financial and sales presence in New York and a sales presence in San Francisco. Mr. Antonucci spent most of 1999 in California developing sales and alliances and participating in the quest for venture capital in the early stages of the company.

Experience As a Senior Manager …

As COO, Mr. Antonucci managed the resources of Knowledge Navigators International to address the challenging demands of a corporate vision and business plan, an aggressive technology development schedule, international offices and the financial constraints of a start-up company in its early stages of raising additional capital.
Mr. Antonucci, as COO for Ashton Informatics Inc., manages the day to day operations of the company. Ashton Informatics has developed their own software product, Ashton Architect™ which has been sold on the world market for a number of years. In addition, Mr. Antonucci is a consulting practitioner focusing on operational issues in both public and private organizations.
As Managing Director of DMR, oversaw the market and sales of professional services, primarily to the Canadian Federal Government market. As the company matured, the focus of services shifted from the traditional small development projects to operational and risk assessments, methodology and strategic planning. While in this capacity, overall revenue increased, exceeding planned growth. At the same time, the resource pool of employees grew from over 100 to nearly 250 staff.
For AMS Management Systems Canada, Inc. managed the first successful IT packaged software and professional services subsidiary practice for AMS outside of the United States. Business escalated to the point where AMS Canada dominated the Canadian market in its specific market sector.
