Our history…18 years young! Ashton Informatics Inc. is a privately owned, Canadian company with an office in Ottawa, Canada. Incorporated in 1987 Ashton Informatics began as a provider of consulting services in the National Capital Region, primarily for the Government of Canada. First tool and product built … In 1992, combining strong backgrounds in capacity planning, technology architecture and strategic business thinking, Ashton undertook a significant R&D initiative to develop an automated planning tool for heterogeneous networked system environments. The result of this two year initiative was the delivery of Ashton Architect™ , which since then, has been applied and adapted to address a variety of enterprise and tactical planning issues for a number of our clients. This relationship has provided a foundation for joint engagements on a number of Enterprise Architecture Planning projects in the public and private sector in both Canada and the United States. Architecture Planning continues to be a principal focus for the company. In the last few years we have fortified our strategic position with alliances with Stratac Group, LLC., and Sabre Systems Inc. Ashton Informatics is actively helping companies in their early stage, start-up or expansion period, providing expertise in strategic planning, application/product development, operations support, and market/alliance building. Our work has included private sector initiatives in Canada and the United States with some subsidiary work in Europe.
